Forgotten your password?
There is no automatic reset, and that is on purpose.
Your portal account was created with your matric number as its password.
If you have never changed it, sign in with your matric number in both fields.
- Username: your matric number, exactly as printed — for example
2024/ND/ACCT/238.
- Password: the same matric number, if you have not changed it.
- Once you are in, go to Profile → Change Password and set your own.
If you have changed your password and cannot remember it, the ICT unit has to
confirm who you are before it can be reset. Bring your student ID in person, or
write from your registered address to
info@kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng.
An automatic reset would only be able to set your password back to your matric
number, which anyone can look up — so it would not protect your account.
